The narrative reviews published in Indian journals in 2026 that are most worth a resident's time, for every MD, MS, DM and MCh specialty. We checked every article that Indian medical journals published this year and kept only the narrative reviews. Systematic reviews, meta-analyses, scoping reviews, guidelines and position statements are left out. Each list is ranked by how useful the review is for exams and practice, and by the standing of the journal.
722 reviews across 69 specialties. Many specialties have fewer than 30 because Indian journals published fewer good reviews in that field this year.
