Fill 21 more fields to see the result.
Formula and scoring
Region score = (erythema + oedema/papulation + excoriation + lichenification, each 0–3, half points allowed) × area score (0–6) × weight. Weights ≥8 y: head 0.1, upper limbs 0.2, trunk 0.3, lower limbs 0.4; 0–7 y: 0.2, 0.2, 0.3, 0.3.
Exam and ward pearls
- EASI-75 (a 75% fall from baseline) is a common trial endpoint.
- Unlike SCORAD, EASI has no itch or sleep component — it is purely clinician-assessed signs.
When not to rely on it
- Erythema is under-scored in skin of colour; DermNet advises raising the redness score by one level if in doubt.
